Alex is a seasoned professional with a rich history spanning over twenty years in the real estate development and construction sector. Over this period, he has played an integral role in securing over $600MM in construction and permanent financing, leveraging diverse equity and debt channels. Alex's expertise shines through in his adept management across various phases of development and construction, particularly in ground-up multifamily projects and revitalizing tenant-in-place affordable housing.
In 2013, Alex co-founded Atlas Builders alongside Michael Yusim, catalyzing its journey to become a prominent player in the industry. At the helm, Alex spearheads corporate strategy and planning, cultivates investor relations, navigates complex contract negotiations, fosters client relationships, and provides astute advisory services. His visionary leadership extends to sourcing new opportunities and driving business development initiatives, ensuring Atlas Builders continues its trajectory of success and growth in the dynamic real estate landscape.
Michael Yusim
Michael's journey to co-founding Atlas Builders was paved with a wealth of experience garnered from his tenure at esteemed construction firms throughout New York City. With a robust background spanning 18 years, Michael has honed his expertise in every facet of construction management. His proficiency encompasses meticulous project scheduling, strategic sequencing, and the seamless coordination of subcontractors and in-house teams, underpinned by a solid foundation in civil engineering.
Drawing from his extensive background in overseeing both high-end and affordable housing projects, Michael brings a nuanced understanding of managing diverse teams with varied skill sets. At Atlas Builders, he leads day-to-day construction operations, steering field supervision, and overseeing project management personnel while prioritizing stringent site safety protocols.
In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Michael is deeply committed to nurturing talent within the organization.
