Synagogue Restoration & Condo Conversion. Sitting mid-block on East 6th street between 1st Avenue and Avenue A in Manhattan, this beautiful landmarked building sat vacant for years while deteriorating.

The developer secured development rights to rebuild the synagogue, adding two floors and converting it to residential condos. The project involved demolition of the entire original structure except for the landmarked façade. The new building contains a commercial condo reserved for the Synagogue on the 1st floor with a cellar, and 3 large residential units occupying floors 2-5.
