Atlas was selected to carry out a gut renovation of the 10th floor of a commercial building in Midtown. Third Beat Studios, a comedy and improv theater and studio was seeking to expand into a new commercial space that would allow it to conduct classes, have more room for administrative offices, and be in a better location. We worked closely with the architect and client to value engineer the budget and establish a critical path for finishing the project on time.
Due to schedule lease constraints of the new space, Atlas had to deliver a project from start to finish within a month and a half. We finished on-time and within budget. We demolished the existing space that was used by a printing shop and created new offices and practice classrooms. We built new walls, ran new wiring, leveled the floor, painted the space, and installed new carpeting and duct work.
